Clear self-adhesive protectors for file folders

Tabbies 58385 protectors wrap around folder tabs and edges to shield labels from wear. The clear polypropylene strips apply with a peel, press and fold action. Each box contains 100 pieces for high-volume filing systems. They suit offices, archives and anyone managing heavily used paper records.

Polypropylene construction resists cracking under

The material maintains clarity while reinforcing tab and spine edges against repeated insertion and removal. Protectors stay secure on heavily accessed files without yellowing or tearing. They also function flat to attach miscellaneous sheets to any smooth surface. This extends the useful life of standard folders in busy environments.

Replaces worn or missing tab reinforcements

The upgrade is worth it when current labels peel, crack or fall off from frequent use. Not suited for binders, ring mechanisms or non-standard tab shapes that exceed the strip dimensions. Buyers needing coloured coding or write-on surfaces should look elsewhere. The product addresses label longevity, not folder capacity or storage density.

Questions about this item

Do these protectors add noticeable bulk when stacked on a shelf all day?

What folder tab style do I need so the 3 1/2 x 2 protectors fit correctly?

They are designed for top-tab folders and wrap around the tab and spine edges of standard letter-size folders.

Can I apply them to older manila folders that already have cracked tabs?

Yes, the self-adhesive strips bond to worn paper and reinforce the damaged edge to stop further tearing.
