Questions about this item

What connector spacing does the 12-pin plug require to fit the 3090 Ti or 40-series cards?

The 12-pin connector is designed to mate directly with the native 12VHPWR socket on 3090 Ti and 40-series graphics cards, so no extra clearance beyond the card's own connector recess is needed.

Which step do builders most often miss when connecting the two 8-pin ends to the power supply?

Each 8-pin plug must be fully seated into a separate 8-pin PCIe port on the PSU; using a single daisy-chained cable or leaving one pin row partially inserted will prevent the 600 W rating from being delivered safely.
