The unit passes 4K at 30 Hz and 1080p at 60 Hz, with a maximum signal rate of 18 Gbps. It automatically downscales a 4K input to 1080p on any output that requires it, so mixed-resolution displays work together. Bandwidth limits mean 4K at 60 Hz is not supported.

Replaces basic splitters and manual switchers

A single-source splitter or a manual 4-in-1-out switch cannot send different sources to different screens. This matrix adds IR remote, front-panel buttons and RS-232 control for automation.
