90-Degree USB 3.0 Keystone Coupler

This pair of white keystone inserts joins two USB Type A male cables behind a wall plate or patch panel. The right-angle design routes cables vertically, reducing strain in shallow back-boxes. Each coupler accepts USB 3.0 or 2.0 plugs and supports data rates up to 5 Gbps while remaining backward compatible with earlier USB versions. They suit installers who want a clean, professional finish for PC, media player or external-drive connections.

Keystone Cut-Out and Wall-Plate Depth

Verify that the mounting surface has a standard keystone opening; the vertical guide wedge snaps into that cut-out. The insert measures 3.3cm by 1.6cm by 1.4cm, so confirm the wall-plate cavity can accommodate that depth. The supplier notes the coupler may not fit ultra-thin decorative panels with trapezoidal jack cut-outs. Test the connection before final installation because removal is difficult once snapped in place.

Two-Pack for Dual-Port Installations

The pack supplies two identical couplers, allowing a single wall plate to carry two USB connections. No driver discs, configuration software or mounting screws are included; the parts rely on the keystone retaining clip alone. Having a spare unit speeds up multi-room wiring or provides a replacement if a port is damaged during fitting.
