What it is

The BUCIER HD-111-XY is a black HDMI male-to-male spring cable measuring 1.2 metres. It connects any HDMI-equipped source such as a PC, DVD player or DVB box directly to an HD television for viewing photos and video.

Signal performance

The coiled construction keeps the link tidy while supporting a 1080p picture at 60 Hz. No external power is required and the passive design adds no measurable latency or signal degradation in normal use.

Deciding specification

The cable is rated for 1080p 60 Hz only, so it will not pass 4K or higher refresh-rate signals. Buyers needing 4K resolution or faster frame rates should choose a different lead.

Questions about this item

How do I plug the HD-111-XY spring cable into my HDTV without bending the HDMI male ends?

Align each HDMI male connector straight with the port on the HDTV or PC, then press gently until it clicks; the coiled spring section absorbs tension so the plugs stay seated without sharp bends.

Will the gold-plated contacts on this 1.2 m cable need cleaning or replacement over time?

The spring cable uses standard HDMI male contacts; occasional dusting with a dry brush keeps them reliable, and no scheduled contact replacement is required.

At what point does the 1080p 60 Hz signal degrade on this 4 ft stretch cable during a long gaming session?

The HD-111-XY is rated for 1080p at 60 Hz across its full 1.2 m length; signal loss only appears if the cable is kinked or the connectors are loose.
