Splitter cable for OTG hosts
The BUCIER cable converts a single Micro USB 2.0 OTG port into two Micro USB 2.0 female sockets. It lets a laptop, MacBook or PC drive a mouse, keyboard, flash drive or card reader simultaneously. The host must support USB On-The-Go for the adapter to function.
Black copper cable with dual female ports
The 30cm black copper lead ends in two 5-pin Micro USB 2.0 receptacles that accept standard OTG peripherals. Both ports operate at the same time, but they deliver no charging current to the host device. A separate power source is required when a portable hard disk is connected.
No bundled software or drivers
The package contains only the hub cable itself; no driver disc, utility or configuration tool is supplied. Plug-and-play operation depends entirely on the host operating system's native OTG support. Users needing power delivery or non-OTG device compatibility must look elsewhere.

Questions about this item
What USB standard does this Micro USB 2.0 OTG hub cable use, and what does that mean for data speed?
It uses the Micro USB 2.0 interface, so data transfers run at USB 2.0 rates and the two female ports cannot supply power to the host device.
What physical space and connectors does the 30 cm cable need to fit?
The male Micro USB plug goes into the host, and the two female Micro USB ports accept OTG devices such as a flash drive, mouse, keyboard or card reader; a micro USB hard disk requires external power.
How do I install this OTG hub cable, and what step do people often miss?
Plug the male end into the host device, then connect up to two OTG peripherals to the female ports; remember the hub cannot charge the host and a hard disk needs its own power supply.
