RJ45 Splitter 1-to-2 Ports

The BUCIER RJ45 splitter adapter converts a single RJ45 connection into two female sockets. It fits Cat 5 and Cat 6 Ethernet cables and lets two devices share one wired outlet. The compact black housing adds a second port without extra cabling. Model 8541553659 ships new in a single-unit pack.

Sequential sharing only

This adapter suits homes or offices where two computers take turns on one Ethernet line. It does not allow both machines to reach the internet at the same time. Buyers who need simultaneous connections for multiple devices should look at a network switch instead.

One-at-a-time operation

The decisive specification is that the splitter shares one Ethernet line sequentially, not concurrently. Only one connected device can transmit data at any moment. Confirm this limitation matches your workflow before purchase.

Questions about this item

Does the BUCIER RJ45 splitter include any cables or do I need to supply my own Ethernet leads?

The package contains only the 1-to-2 female adapter; you must provide the Ethernet cables that plug into its three RJ45 ports.

The notes say the two ports work one at a time — what does that mean for choosing between this splitter and a switch?

This adapter lets two devices share a single line alternately, but it cannot pass traffic for both simultaneously; a switch is required for concurrent connections.

The headline mentions CAT 5 and CAT 6 — what performance can I expect when the adapter is wired into a gigabit network?

It passes the physical wiring for Category 5 and Category 6 cables, so gigabit speeds are supported provided the cabling and connected equipment also meet those standards.
