Splitter cable for one USB-A port
This BUCIER cable turns a single USB 2.0 Type-A socket into two female ports so you can run two peripherals from one connection. It is built for users who need simultaneous charging and data sync on laptops, desktops, TVs or an Xbox without adding a powered hub.
Colour-coded ports and copper construction
The 40 cm cable uses copper conductors and ends in a white port that supplies power only and a black port that handles both data and power. The white connector cannot transfer data, so keyboards, mice or other input devices will not work there, and it will not charge iOS devices.
480 Mbps maximum throughput on the data port
The black female connector supports the full USB 2.0 rate of 480 Mbps for connected storage, audio or other peripherals. The splitter is not suitable for car stereo systems, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Ford Sync or dual headphone use, and high-power devices are not recommended.

Questions about this item
What does the USB 2.0 interface limit the black data port to?
The black port handles both data and power at up to 480 Mbps, which is the maximum throughput of the USB 2.0 standard used by this splitter.
How much space does the 40 cm Y-cable need behind the host port?
The cable is 40 cm (1.3 ft) long, so you need roughly that much clearance from the USB-A socket to route the two female ends without strain.
Which port do I plug a keyboard or mouse into, and why does the other one fail?
Use the black female port — it carries data and power. The white port is power-only and cannot enumerate input devices such as keyboards or mice.
