A bidirectional USB-C switch lets two sources share one display or one source drive two displays at up to 8K 30 Hz, 4K 120 Hz, 10 Gbps data and 100 W charging
The BUCIER USB-C KVM Switch connects two USB-C video sources to a single display or one source to two displays, switching between them with a press of the Select button. It is aimed at users who move between a laptop and a desktop, a tablet and a console, or any pair of USB-C devices that need to share one monitor. The unit requires external power via the included Micro-USB cable to operate.
The switch passes up to 10 Gbps USB 3.1 Gen 2 data while simultaneously delivering up to 100 W Power Delivery to the connected host. Video bandwidth supports 8K at 30 Hz, 4K at 120 Hz or 1080p at 165 Hz, limited by the source, cable and display capabilities. Cables longer than 1.5 metres are not recommended for reliable operation.
A built-in USB-C tether connects the switch to the display or primary source, while two supplied USB 3.1 Gen 2 cables link the remaining ports. Only one video path is active at a time, so simultaneous dual-monitor output is not possible. The monitor's USB-C port must support video input and have the function enabled for the link to work.

Connect the two included USB 3.1 Gen 2 cables from the switch's USB-C 1 and USB-C 2 ports to your source devices. Connect the fixed USB-C cable to the monitor's USB-C port that supports video. Crucially, connect the included Micro USB to USB-A cable to a power supply; the switch must be powered or the monitor will not display anything.
The switch relies on the included USB 3.1 Gen 2 cables and Micro USB power cable for operation. If any cable becomes damaged or fails to support the required 10Gbps data rate or 100W power delivery, replace it with a cable of equal specification. The Select button is the only moving part; keep it free of debris.
The 1.5 metre maximum cable length limit for stable 8K@30Hz, 4K@120Hz, or 1080P@165Hz video and 10Gbps data. Exceeding this length causes signal degradation. The 100W Power Delivery ceiling also caps charging speed for connected laptops. Only one link is active at a time, so bandwidth is not shared.
