Indoor fly ribbon pack

The BugBane BB-FlyRib24 pack supplies twenty-four double-sided sticky ribbons, each two inches wide, designed to catch house flies, fruit flies, gnats, mosquitoes and moths. The non-toxic, odour-free glue contains no bait and is waterproof for indoor or outdoor hanging. Twenty-four thumb tacks are included for quick mounting.

Suited for general insect control

Homeowners wanting a simple, chemical-free way to reduce flying insects around kitchens, porches or gardens will find the ribbons easy to deploy. The traps are single-use and not reusable, so anyone needing a permanent or washable solution should consider other types of device.

Sustained use behaviour

Each ribbon remains effective for up to three months in typical conditions, though heavy dust can shorten that span. The glue stays tacky in wet weather thanks to the waterproof formulation. If catches drop off, moving the strip to a spot with more insect traffic restores results.

Questions about this item

Do I need any tools or hardware beyond what is in the 24pk box to hang each 2 in ribbon?

No. The pack includes 24 thumb tacks, one for every ribbon, so you can hang them straight away.

Will the waterproof glue on these ribbons damage paint or varnish on older window frames when I remove them after three months?

The glue is designed to stay on the ribbon. Pull the ribbon away slowly, then dab any residue with oil‑soaked cotton balls until it dissolves.

How can I confirm the ribbons are working as intended once they are hung?

Flies, gnats and mosquitoes should be stuck to the double‑sided surface within hours; if the ribbon stays empty, move it to a spot with more insect activity.
