Pocket reporter notebook — Gregg ruled

This spiral-bound pocket notebook uses Gregg ruling to keep handwritten notes tidy and easy to scan. The stiff cover gives a firm writing surface when you are standing or away from a desk. Wire binding lets the book open flat for comfortable use in tight spaces. Each book contains 70 sheets and the pack supplies one dozen.

Suited for mobile note-taking.

Reporters, officers and field salespeople who need a coat-pocket book for quick interviews will find the format convenient. The compact page count and small footprint make it impractical for long-form drafting, multi-subject archiving or anyone who prefers wide-ruled or college-ruled layouts.

Gregg ruling — the deciding spec

Gregg ruling spaces lines closer than standard wide or college rules, so it fits more shorthand per page. If your workflow depends on that line spacing the book works; if you need wider lines for larger handwriting or standard outlines, choose a different ruling.

Questions about this item

Does the stiff cover on the Business Source 10972 stay rigid when I write standing up all day?

No, standard ballpoint, rollerball or pencil work fine on the Gregg-ruled sheets.

Will the wire binding on the 10972 catch on the pages of older spiral notebooks stored together?

The wire binding opens flat and lies flush, so it slides past other notebooks without snagging.
