What this box contains

This pack holds 25 hanging file folders from Business Source, model 43850. Each folder is transparent and built with a 1-inch expansion bottom to fit letter-size documents. The box quantity makes it straightforward to stock a filing cabinet or supply closet in one order.

Capacity and headroom

The 1-inch expansion gives each folder enough depth for a moderate stack of letter pages without bulging. Twenty-five folders in a single box cover a typical active-project load or a small department’s daily filing. Very high-volume archives will need additional boxes to keep pace.

Upgrade path and when to buy

These folders replace worn or non-expanding hangers that no longer hold a full project file. The jump is worth it when existing folders tear at the bottom or when a new filing system needs uniform, expandable pockets from day one. Buyers who need legal-size pockets or a different tab layout should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Will these 1" expansion folders fit inside my existing letter-size hanging rails?

The folders are letter-size with box-bottom construction and 1" expansion, so they sit on standard letter rails while the gusset adds capacity.

How can I confirm the box-bottom design is holding its shape once loaded?

After filling, the folder should stand upright on a flat surface without the bottom bowing outward.

Does the 25-count box include hanging hooks or tabs, or must I order them separately?

Each folder has a built-in 1/5-cut tab; hanging hooks are not included and are sold separately.
