Self-Seal Business Envelopes

Suited For And Not Suited For

Ideal for offices that process large batches of invoices or statements and want a fast, mess-free sealing method. Not suited for users who prefer traditional gummed flaps or need envelopes compatible with moisture-based sealing machines.

Self-Sealing Double-Flap Closure

The double-flap mechanism activates when the lower flap is raised and pressed, creating a secure seal without water or tape. This single feature determines whether the envelope matches your workflow and equipment.

Questions about this item

How do I seal the self-seal No. 10 envelopes without making them stick prematurely?

Raise the lower flap only when ready to mail, then press firmly; the double-flap design keeps the adhesive protected until that moment.

Will the 24 lb paper stock hold up if I run the envelopes through a laser printer later?

The 24 lb weight is rated for standard laser and inkjet printers; avoid heavy toner coverage on the seam area to prevent curling.

At what volume does the self-seal adhesive lose tack if the box sits open?

In typical office humidity the adhesive remains effective for the full 500 count; reseal the box between uses to maximise shelf life.
