Baronial Envelope Size 4.75 x 6.5

These #6 baronial envelopes measure 4.75 x 6.5 inches and feature a diagonal seam with pointed flaps. The remoistening seal provides a secure closure for correspondence. Each box contains 250 envelopes made from recycled creme coloured sulphite paper with a vellum finish.

Recycled 28lb Sulphite Construction

The 28lb recycled sulphite stock is acid-free, helping to preserve documents over time without yellowing or deterioration. A vellum finish adds a subtle texture suitable for writing or printing. Diagonal seam construction reinforces the envelope structure during handling and mailing.

Suited for Formal Correspondence

Ideal for invitations, announcements and personal stationery where a traditional baronial format is required. Buyers needing window envelopes or larger capacities for bulk mailing should look at alternative styles. The fixed 250-count box may not suit high-volume commercial operations.

Questions about this item

Will the remoistening seal on these 28lb recycled creme envelopes lose adhesion if stored long-term?

The remoistening seal remains effective when envelopes are kept cool, dry and flat; humidity or heat can degrade the gum over time.

At what point does the 28lb sulphite vellum finish start to show wear from repeated printer passes?

The 28lb weight resists curling and picking through many laser or inkjet passes; heavy-coverage jobs will show fibre wear first.

How warm does a box of 250 envelopes get when run continuously through a high-speed laser printer all day?

The envelopes themselves stay near room temperature; only the printer’s fuser adds heat, and the vellum finish dissipates it quickly.
