A 1 A fast-acting ceramic fuse rated 250 V AC / 125 V DC with a 10 kA interrupt rating at 125 V and 35 A at 250 V AC
This ceramic fuse from the ABC series provides fast-acting, non-indicating overcurrent protection rated at 1 A for 250 V AC and 125 V DC circuits. Its cylindrical, non-rejection body fits standard fuse blocks such as the 3823, HFA, HHN, HK, HKP, HPF, HRK, HTB and S-8000 series. The fuse is designed for single-element operation in industrial and electrical equipment where reliable interruption is required.
The fuse interrupts up to 10 kA at 125 V AC and 10 kA at 125 V DC, while at 250 V AC the interrupt capacity is 35 A. These ratings set the maximum prospective fault current the device can safely clear; beyond them the fuse cannot be relied upon to break the circuit. For applications with higher available fault current at 250 V AC, a fuse with a greater interrupt rating must be selected.
This part cross-references Bussmann ABC, Littelfuse 314 and Mersen GAB series fuses, allowing a like-for-like swap in existing fuse blocks without hardware changes. The upgrade is worthwhile when the installed fuse has a lower interrupt rating at the system voltage or when a ceramic body is preferred for higher thermal stability. It is not suitable for circuits requiring indicating or time-delay characteristics.

The fuse is rated 250 V AC with a 35 A interrupt rating at that voltage, so it will open safely on a 250 V AC generator circuit.
Use a multimeter on the continuity setting across the fuse ends; a closed circuit confirms the element is good.
The fuse fits 3823, HFA, HHN, HK, HKP, HPF, HRK, HTB and S-8000 series blocks; no block is included.
