25 A 600 V AC Class J fuse

This 25 A fast-acting fuse protects circuits up to 600 V AC and 450 V DC. Its cylindrical melamine body measures 2-1/4 in long by 13/16 in diameter and carries a 200 kA interrupt rating at 600 V AC. It fits non-rejection style fuse blocks including the CH30J, JM600, JP600, JT600 and JTN600 series. The unit is new and ready for industrial or commercial installation.

Interrupt ratings and voltage limits

The fuse clears faults up to 200 kA at 600 V AC and 100 kA at 450 V DC. Operation above these voltages or interrupt levels is not supported by the device ratings. The fast-acting characteristic provides rapid response to overcurrents but does not offer time-delay for motor starting surges. Users must verify that the available fault current and system voltage stay within the stated limits.

Replaces DFJ LDFJ HSJ series fuses

This DFJ-25 replaces Bussmann DFJ, Littelfuse LDFJ and Mersen HSJ fuses of the same ampere and voltage rating. The upgrade is worthwhile when a 200 kA AC interrupt rating is required or when standardising on the DFJ series across a facility. It does not suit applications needing an indicating fuse or a rejection-style block. Buyers who need a time-delay characteristic or a different ampere rating should select another series.
