Four time-delay plug fuses rated 8 A at 125 V AC with a 10 kA interrupt rating
The Bussmann T-8 plug fuse protects 125 V AC circuits with an 8 A time-delay element. It suits household and light-commercial panels that accept Edison-base fuses and need a 10 kA interrupt rating.
A four-pack keeps spare fuses on hand so a blown circuit can be restored without a separate trip to the shop. The ceramic body and dual-element design let the fuse ride through brief motor-start surges while still clearing sustained overloads.
Screw the fuse into the existing socket until it seats firmly; no tools are required. The most frequent problem is installing a higher-amp fuse in a circuit wired for less current, which defeats the protection.

The ceramic body is a single-use component; once the 8 A dual-element fuse interrupts a fault at 10 kA, the entire plug fuse must be replaced.
The time-delay, dual-element design tolerates brief overloads but will open if the 8 A rating is exceeded long enough to melt the element.
Normal operation at 8 A produces only the heat typical for a 125 V AC ceramic plug fuse; no additional cooling is required.
