1/2-Inch Forged Extended D-Ring

This D-ring is a heavy-duty towing and cargo-securing accessory built from C-1045 steel. It features an elongated profile that accepts bulky hooks and chains, and it ships with an integral weld-on mounting bracket for permanent installation on trailers, plows or equipment frames.

Check weld-on compatibility and load ratings

Verify that the mounting surface can accept a weld-on bracket and that the working load limit of 4,080 lb meets your tie-down requirements. The gross vehicle weight capacity is 11,781 lb, so confirm the total load does not exceed this figure before ordering.

Suits permanent trailer and plow tie-downs

Ideal for operators who need a fixed, forged attachment point for securing bulky loads on trailels or plow equipment. Not suited for applications requiring a removable or bolt-on ring, nor for situations where a finished coating is required out of the box.

Questions about this item

Does the B39W D-ring include the mounting bracket or must it be purchased separately?

The forged extended D-ring ships with an integral weld-on mounting bracket already attached.

Should I choose the 11,781 lb GVW capacity or the 4,080 lb working load limit for my trailer?

Use the 4,080 lb working load limit as your design maximum; the 11,781 lb GVW figure is the gross vehicle weight rating for the complete assembly.

What does the 4,080 lb working load limit mean once the ring is welded to my trailer frame?

It is the maximum steady load the C-1045 steel ring can carry in cargo securement without permanent deformation.
