Brass G 1/4in male-to-female extension coupler adds 50 mm of clearance for custom-loop fittings
This brass coupler adds 50 mm of effective length between two G 1/4in threaded components. It solves clearance problems when a fitting sits too close to a block, radiator or pump. The male-to-female design keeps the thread standard consistent throughout the loop. Builders working in tight chassis or around bulky hardware will find it useful.
The part has no moving parts, fans or electrical draw, so it adds zero noise and zero power consumption to the system. Thermal performance depends entirely on the coolant and blocks it connects, not on the coupler itself. Brass conducts heat well, but the short 55 mm overall height limits any measurable impact on loop temperature. No active cooling is required or possible.
The diamond knurl provides grip for hand-tightening without tools, reducing the risk of over-torquing soft acrylic or acetal tops. Threads are standard G 1/4in male on one end and female on the other, matching almost all common fittings. The supplier warns that the internal finish may react with distilled-water coolants and is incompatible with PrimoChill Opaque and VUE series fluids. Use only in non-aluminium loops.

Hand-tighten the brass coupler into the female G 1/4in port until the O-ring seats, then use a soft-jaw wrench on the knurled section for a final quarter-turn; over-tightening strips the fine threads.
Inspect the O-ring annually for flattening or cracking and replace it if coolant weeps; the brass body itself requires no scheduled replacement.
The 55 mm overall length hits first when routing between a GPU block and a side-panel window, so measure that gap before committing to the coupler.
