BZBGEAR BG-4KND-12XUHP 4K NDI PTZ Camera

The BZBGEAR BG-4KND-12XUHP is a 4K PTZ network camera built for live streaming and broadcast production. It delivers 4K resolution at 60 fps through simultaneous HDMI, USB 3.0 and NDI outputs. A Sony 1/2.5 inch CMOS sensor provides 2 megapixel imaging with 12x optical zoom. The unit suits houses of worship, conference rooms, studios and event venues that need remote camera operation.

NDI 4.0 bandwidth and network protocol limits

NDI 4.0 transmission runs over standard IP networks using RTSP, RTMP, ONVIF and GB/T28181 protocols. Video quality and latency depend on available bandwidth; a 1 GbE link is typical for 4K 60 streams. PoE power is supplied through Cat5, Cat6 or Cat7 cabling, so the camera draws no separate AC feed when the switch supports it. Control uses VISCA over IP or cascaded RS232 and RS422 links compatible with RS485.

Installation notes and common pitfalls

Mount the camera, connect a single Ethernet cable for PoE and data, then assign an IP address for web control. USB 3.0 uses a Type B port that falls back to USB 2.0 speeds if the host port is older. Audio enters via a 3.5 mm line input. Preset positions number 255; exceeding that limit or mismatching VISCA baud rates on the RS232/422 chain are the most frequent setup errors.

Questions about this item

Which zoom range does the BG-4KND-12XUHP cover?

The lens spans 3.85 mm to 43.06 mm, giving a 12X optical zoom that keeps full 4K quality at every focal length.

What does the 4KP60 label mean for live output?

The camera can stream or record 4K resolution at up to 60 frames per second over HDMI, USB 3.0 or NDI simultaneously.

How does the NDI 4.0 connection limit bandwidth in practice?

NDI 4.0 runs over standard Gigabit Ethernet, so a single Cat5/6/7 cable carries video, audio, control and PoE power without extra cabling.
