Black 50-foot Siamese BNC cable with woven shield and power wires

BZBGEAR

BZBGEAR BG-CAB-SDIS50 50ft 75-ohm SDI Siamese BNC Cable

SKU CH-24RN-K7HDM

A 50 ft 75-ohm shielded SDI cable with an 18-gauge power pair carries 1080P60 video and DC or RS232/485 control up to 100 m

  • Cable length50 ft (15.2 m)
  • Overall length50 ft (15.2 m)

Cable Length 50 Feet

  • Transmits 1080P60 video over 50 ft single run
  • Carries DC power or RS232/485 alongside video signal
  • 75-ohm shielded coax rejects interference for clean images
  • 3 GHz sweep tested to verify signal integrity
  • Supports 3G-SDI equipment up to 100 m distance

Ready-to-run SDI cable for 1080P video and DC power

This 50 ft siamese cable combines a 75 ohm shielded coaxial line with an 18 gauge two conductor copper pair so a single run carries 3G SDI video up to 1080P60 plus DC power or RS232/485 control signals to compatible cameras and equipment.

Swept tested for sustained signal integrity

Each assembly is 3 GHz sweep tested and the woven shield rejects electromagnetic interference so the link stays clean over the full 100 m rated distance without the artifacting that appears on lesser cables during long takes.

BNC connectors crimped on both ends for instant use

The factory terminated plugs remove the need for field crimping or soldering which are the most common sources of intermittent connections and signal loss on custom built runs.

Questions about this item

Does the 75-ohm shielded coaxial design run hot or draw extra power during all-day 1080P60 transmission?

The cable is passive and carries no active electronics, so it produces no heat and draws no power beyond the DC current you choose to send through the 18-gauge conductors.

What equipment must I already own to use the BNC ends and the 2-conductor 18-gauge power pair?

You need a 3G-SDI source and destination with BNC ports, plus a DC supply or RS-232/485 controller that matches the voltage and pinout your devices expect.

Will the 50-ft Siamese run work reliably with older 75-ohm BNC gear that only supports 1080i?

Yes, the 3-GHz sweep-tested coax supports legacy SDI formats at the same 75-ohm impedance, so 1080i signals pass without artifacts.
