Wireless BYOD conference switch

The BZBGEAR BG-Connexio is a wireless presentation and collaboration switch built for meeting rooms. It connects laptops, smartphones or tablets to the room display, camera, microphone and speakers without cables. Participants join using AirPlay, Miracast or Chromecast from their own devices. The unit is intended for hybrid teams that need quick, cable-free sharing in huddle spaces or larger conference rooms.

HDMI output and resolution limits

Video leaves the switch through a single HDMI 19-pin female connector. Supported output modes are 3840x2160 at 60 Hz or 30 Hz, 1920x1080 at 60 Hz and 1280x720 at 60 Hz. The wireless link caps frame rate at 60 Hz for 4K and 1080p content. No other video interfaces or higher refresh rates are provided by this device.

Check power and network before ordering

The switch draws power over a single category cable using PoE, so a PoE-capable switch or injector must be available at the install location. A wired network connection is required for the management platform and for the dual-network security architecture. Verify that your room display accepts one of the listed HDMI resolutions and that your laptops support AirPlay, Miracast or Chromecast.
