Universal 1080p PTZ camera with 20x zoom

The BZBGEAR BG-UPTZ-20XHSU-B is a 2-megapixel network PTZ camera delivering 1080p video at up to 60 fps. It features 20x optical zoom plus 10x digital zoom and simultaneous HDMI, 3G-SDI, USB 3.0 and IP streaming outputs. PoE and 12 V DC power options simplify installation. ONVIF, RTSP, RTMP and GB/T28181 protocols ensure broad system compatibility.

Suited for multi-output live production.

This camera suits live streaming, video conferencing and broadcast workflows that need simultaneous SDI, HDMI, USB and IP feeds with 255 presets and cascaded RS-232/485 control. Buyers who need internal recording, higher than 1080p resolution, or wireless connectivity should look at other models because this unit provides none of those features.

20x optical zoom decides reach and detail

The 20x optical zoom lens determines how close the camera can pull distant subjects while maintaining full 1080p quality. Digital zoom extends reach to 30x combined but adds interpolation. If the installation distance requires tighter framing than 20x allows, a 30x optical model is necessary; if the field of view is wider, a 12x version may suffice.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 20x optical zoom model or the 12x and 30x versions?

The 20x optical zoom gives a mid-range reach with 10x digital on top; choose 12x for wider rooms or 30x for larger halls.

What does 1080p60 mean for live streaming quality?

It delivers full HD at up to 60 frames per second for smooth motion on IP streams, USB 3.0, HDMI and 3G-SDI simultaneously.

Which control standard does the RS-232/485 port use and how many presets does it support?

It uses VISCA and Pelco-D/P protocols over cascadable RS-232/485 and stores 255 preset positions.
