Spare Tire Cover for 12-Inch Wheels

This black vinyl cover fits a 12-inch spare tyre to shield it from sunlight and road grime. It is designed for trailers and small utility vehicles that carry an exposed spare. The cover slips over the tyre and secures with an elasticised edge for a snug fit.

Durable Protection Under Continuous Exposure

The material resists cracking and fading during prolonged outdoor storage and highway travel. It blocks UV rays that degrade rubber sidewalls over months of sun exposure. The cover remains flexible in cold temperatures and does not stiffen when wet.

Simple Elastic Mounting for Daily Use

An elastic hem grips the tyre circumference without straps or buckles to adjust. Installation takes seconds and the cover stays in place at highway speeds. The black finish hides dirt and matches most wheel finishes. California Proposition 65 warnings apply to chemicals in the vinyl.

Questions about this item

How does the black cover handle heat and UV exposure when left on a trailer tire all day?

The black fabric shields the 12 in. spare from direct sun, slowing rubber degradation and keeping the wheel cooler during extended outdoor storage.

What mounting hardware or tools do I need to secure this cover to my spare wheel?

The cover slips over the 12 in. tire and uses an integrated elastic hem with a drawstring, so no separate brackets, bolts or tools are required.

Will this cover fit the older 12-inch steel wheel I have kept as a spare?

Yes, it is sized for any 12 in. tire diameter, so it fits both current and older wheels of that size.
