SKU CH-0R3Z-5C3AE MPN C2G07390

A 3 ft shielded Cat6a patch cable with snagless RJ-45 connectors for 10 Gigabit networks up to 328 ft

  • Cat6a rating supports 10 Gigabit speeds up to 328 ft
  • Shielded twisted pair construction blocks electromagnetic interference on high-speed links
  • Snagless RJ-45 boots protect locking tabs in dense patch panels
  • 3 ft length suits short rack or desktop connections
  • Meets ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 component requirements for reliable performance

3 ft Cat6a Shielded Patch Cable

This 3 ft Cat6a shielded twisted pair patch cable is built for 10 Gigabit Ethernet links. It connects network adapters, switches, routers, HDBaseT gear and patch panels in high-density racks or workstations. The snagless boot protects the RJ-45 latch during frequent moves.

Category 6a STP with ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 compliance

The cable meets ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 Cat6a component requirements and supports 10 Gbps transmission up to 328 ft. Each pair is bonded to maintain twist spacing, while the overall foil shield blocks electromagnetic interference that degrades high-speed signals.

Installers needing short, shielded 10 GbE jumpers

Suited for technicians wiring 10GBase-T ports in cabinets where alien crosstalk is a concern. Not for buyers who need longer unshielded runs, outdoor-rated jackets, or fibre optic links for distances beyond copper limits.

Questions about this item

What real-world throughput can I expect from the Cat6a rating inside my rack?

The cable is built to the ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 Cat6a specification and supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 328 ft, so a 3 ft run will deliver the full 10 Gbps line rate without distance-related degradation.

How does the shielded twisted-pair construction affect the RJ-45 connection and grounding?

Each pair is foil-shielded and the RJ-45 plugs carry that shield through to the jack, providing continuous EMI protection; the snagless boot protects the locking tab in dense patch panels.

Will the 3 ft length and snagless boots fit cleanly in a high-density 1U patch panel?

At 0.9 m the cable is short enough to avoid slack loops, and the snagless boot design keeps the locking tabs clear when cables are stacked side-by-side in a 1U organizer.
