SKU CH-CTPT-6E4NA MPN C2G43456

A 15ft Cat6 patch cable with snagless RJ45 connectors and 50-micron gold-plated contacts, TAA compliant and rated to 600 MHz for 1 Gbps Ethernet

  • Reliable 1 Gbps networking for mid-range setups
  • TAA-compliant construction approved for government projects
  • Snagless RJ45 clips survive repeated insertions
  • 50-micron gold contacts maintain signal integrity
  • 600 MHz bandwidth meets Category 6 standards

15 ft Cat6 TAA-compliant patch cable

This 15-foot Category 6 patch cable carries Ethernet signals at up to 1 Gbps, with limited 10 Gbps capability over shorter runs. It is built from U.S.-sourced copper and meets ANSI/TIA-568.2-D standards for government and commercial projects.

Snagless RJ45 connectors simplify installation

Moulded boots protect the locking tabs from snapping during repeated insertions, so the cable stays secure in dense patch panels or tight switch ports. Standard RJ45 ends fit any Gigabit Ethernet jack without special tools.

Verify port speed and run length before ordering

Confirm that both endpoints negotiate at least 1000BASE-T to use the cable’s rated bandwidth. For runs approaching the 10 Gbps threshold, check that the total channel length stays within the distance your equipment specifies.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the cable is delivering 1 Gbps after I connect it?

Check the link speed in your operating system or router interface; it should show 1 Gbps when the cable is working correctly with Cat6 equipment.

What comes in the box and do I need any extra connectors?

The box contains the 15 ft blue Cat6 patch cable with snagless RJ45 plugs on both ends; no additional connectors are required for standard Ethernet ports.

Which length should I choose for a typical desk-to-switch run?

The 15 ft (4.6 m) length suits most desk-to-switch or patch-panel connections; longer runs up to 100 ft are available if you need more reach.
