Does the 20ft cable run warm or draw extra power when it carries 4K at 60Hz all day?

The cable is passive and needs no external power; it simply carries the 4K 60Hz signal without generating noticeable heat.

What HDMI ports must my display and source already have to use the Ethernet channel and 32 audio channels?

Both devices need HDMI ports that support the Ethernet channel and the full 32-channel audio specification.

Will this 20ft cable work reliably with an older 1080p projector that only has standard HDMI inputs?

Yes, the cable is backward compatible and will carry 1080p video and standard audio to the older projector without issues.
