2K Pan/Tilt Indoor Camera for Home Monitoring

This camera provides 2K live streaming with 355° horizontal and 90° vertical rotation for full 360° coverage. It connects via 2.4G WiFi and requires constant USB-C power for continuous operation. The Vicohome app enables remote viewing, two-way audio, and multi-user sharing for family access.

Upgrade from Fixed-Angle or Lower-Resolution Units

Replacing a static 1080P camera adds motorised pan/tilt tracking that follows people and pets across the room. The jump is worth it when you need colour night vision, smart human detection, and customisable activity zones to reduce false alerts. Local TF card and cloud storage options replace limited onboard recording.

Sustained 24/7 Operation on Wired Power

Because the unit stays plugged in, it maintains a constant live feed and recording loop without battery drain or thermal throttling. MPEG4 compression keeps continuous footage manageable on TF or cloud storage. The 360° rotation and colour night vision remain active through extended monitoring sessions, ensuring reliable coverage day and night.

Questions about this item

What are the dimensions I need to clear for the 14.33in W x 12.83in H x 9.06in D camera body?

The camera measures 14.33 inches wide, 12.83 inches high and 9.06 inches deep, so allow at least that much space for surface or ceiling mounting.

Which step do users often miss when connecting the camera to the Vicohome app over 2.4G WiFi?

The camera only works with 2.4G WiFi; ensure your phone is on the same 2.4G band during pairing, otherwise the app will not find the device.

How often should I check the microSD card used for 24/7 recording on this CA42?

Continuous 24/7 writing wears cards faster; inspect the card health in the app monthly and replace it at the first sign of errors or dropped footage.
