A 15 ft heavy-duty power extension cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug and IEC C13 connector, rated 15 A at 125 V using 14 AWG SJT cable, UL and CSA certified
This 15-foot power extension cord connects a standard NEMA 5-15P plug to an IEC 60320 C13 inlet, adding reach for PCs, monitors, servers, printers and most IEC-equipped devices. The heavy-duty 14 AWG SJT jacket encloses three grounded copper conductors rated for 15 amps at 125 volts. UL listed, CSA certified and RoHS compliant, it ships new with molded connectors and strain relief.
It upgrades from the short IEC leads shipped with many power supplies or monitors when the wall outlet sits farther away than the stock cable allows. The jump is worth it whenever a 6-foot or 10-foot cord leaves the connector under tension or forces equipment into an awkward position. Builders who need a hospital-grade NEMA plug or a right-angle C13 inlet will not be served by this straight connector design.
At 14 AWG the cord comfortably carries the full 15 A rating for typical desktop, workstation or rack-mount gear drawing up to the circuit limit. It runs out when the load exceeds 15 A or when the installation demands a thicker 12 AWG conductor for voltage-drop reasons over longer runs. The 105 °C / 300 V SJT insulation also suits warmer equipment bays where lighter 16 AWG or 18 AWG leads would degrade faster.

Yes, the three-prong NEMA 5-15P plug fits any standard 125 V North American receptacle while providing a grounded connection.
Plug the C13 end into the device inlet first, then insert the NEMA 5-15P into the wall outlet; do not force the C13 connector upside down as it is keyed.
Replace the cord if the black SJT jacket shows cuts, cracking, or melted areas, or if the molded strain relief on either connector becomes loose.
