A 2 ft indoor extension cord with 16 AWG grounded copper, 13 A at 125 V, UL Listed and CSA certified for computers and appliances
The Cable Leader PW147-1202 adds two feet of length to any standard 3-prong device cord so it can reach a wall outlet, power strip or surge protector indoors. A NEMA 5-15P plug connects to the supply and a matching 5-15R receptacle accepts the equipment cord. The cord is built with 16 AWG copper conductors and a grounded three-wire design for computers, monitors and shop equipment.
The SJT jacket is rated for indoor use only in offices, labs, workshops and homes and must not be used in wet or outdoor locations. It carries a 13 amp, 125 volt rating that suits typical desktop and appliance loads but does not support higher-current circuits. For outdoor or damp environments a cord with an SJTW jacket would be required instead.
The 16 AWG conductor size determines the safe continuous current of 13 amps at 125 volts, making this cord suitable for most computers and peripherals. Devices that draw more than 13 amps need a heavier gauge such as 14 AWG rated for 15 amps. The cord is UL Listed and CSA certified under file E210037 and is RoHS compliant.

16 AWG is rated for up to 13A, which covers typical desktop computers and monitors; 18 AWG is limited to 10A and suits lighter electronics only.
It means the cord can safely carry up to 13 amps at 125 volts, matching standard North American wall outlets and most office power strips.
The NEMA 5-15P plug and 5-15R receptacle limit the cord to 15A maximum per the standard, so the 13A rating of this 16 AWG cable is the practical ceiling.
