Indoor power extension for household electronics

This six-pack of one-foot cords extends the reach of short power leads on televisions, computers, monitors, lamps and small appliances. Each cord uses 16 AWG copper conductors rated for 13 amps at 120 volts and carries ETL listing for indoor safety. The grounded NEMA 5-15P plug connects to a standard AC outlet while the NEMA 5-15R receptacle accepts common three-prong devices.

Practical limits of the NEMA 5-15 interface

The NEMA 5-15P to NEMA 5-15R connection supports a maximum continuous draw of 13 amps at 120 volts, so total connected load must stay below that threshold. The 16 AWG gauge and one-foot length are intended for indoor, short-distance extensions only and are not rated for outdoor exposure or permanent installation. Daisy-chaining multiple cords increases resistance and should be avoided.

Checks before ordering

Verify that every device you plan to plug in uses a standard three-prong NEMA 5-15 plug and that combined amperage does not exceed 13 amps. Confirm the one-foot length is sufficient to bridge the gap between your wall outlet and the equipment without tension. Ensure the cords will be used indoors in dry locations only.
