Tight-Space Power Extension

The Cable Matters 400141 two-pack adds one foot of reach to any 120 V AC outlet while its 360-degree rotating flat plug prevents large adapters from blocking adjacent sockets. White 16 AWG cords suit home offices, entertainment centres and ceiling-mounted projectors where clearance is limited.

13 A 1625 W Capacity Headroom

Rated at 13 amps and 1625 watts on 125 V circuits, the 16 AWG conductors handle desktop computers, HDTVs and refrigerators without voltage drop over the short run. Loads above 13 A or continuous draws near the limit will exceed the cord’s design margin.

Low-Profile Thermals and Draw

Fully moulded strain-relief connectors and NEMA 5-15P to 5-15R ends keep resistance low so the cords stay cool during normal indoor use. No fan or active cooling is present; power draw is purely passive and silent.

Questions about this item

Will the 360° rotating flat plug clear a bulky 16 AWG adapter on my existing power strip?

Yes, the plug rotates a full 360 degrees so you can orient it away from neighbouring outlets and large adapters without forcing the cord.

How can I confirm the 13 A rating is holding after I plug in my projector?

Check that the cord stays cool to the touch and that the projector runs without tripping the circuit breaker during normal use.

Does the 2-pack include mounting hardware or only the two 1 ft cords?

Only the two 1 ft NEMA 5-15P to NEMA 5-15R extension cords are in the box; no screws, ties or adapters are supplied.
