A 6 ft red Cat6 patch cable with snagless boots, 24 AWG stranded conductors and 50 micron gold-plated RJ45 connectors rated for 550 MHz
This six-foot red Cat6 patch cable uses 24 AWG stranded UTP construction rated at 550 MHz. It terminates in RJ45 male connectors on both ends wired to the TIA 568B standard. The cable carries a CM fire rating and is ETL verified for Category 6 performance. Snagless bubble boots protect the connector tabs during installation.
The cable supports 10/100 Base-T and Gigabit Ethernet over a six-foot run, making it a practical choice for desktop patching or short rack connections. Backward compatibility with Category 5e and Category 5 networks is built in. Installers who need shielded cable, plenum rating or longer distances should consider other cable types.
The 550 MHz bandwidth rating on 24 AWG stranded copper is the specification that determines whether this patch cable meets the performance ceiling of your Cat6 infrastructure. Gold-plated staggered pins and four twisted pairs preserve signal integrity at that frequency. Verify that your endpoints and keystones are also rated for Category 6 before deploying.

| Second connector | RJ45 |
The cable is backwards compatible with Category 5e and Category 5 networks, so it will connect to your existing router and switch without issue.
Check the link lights on both ports; a steady or blinking indicator typically confirms a negotiated Gigabit Ethernet connection over the four twisted pairs.
The cable ships with moulded bubble boots on both RJ45 connectors for snagless operation; nothing extra is required.
