Cat6a cable for 10GBase-T

This Category 6a patch cable connects network adapters, switches, routers and patch panels with RJ-45 male connectors on both ends. It is built for 10 Gigabit data transmission over four-pair copper wiring and tested to ANSI/TIA 568 C.2 channel requirements. The snagless hood protects the latch in high-density switch ports. The 2 ft length suits short rack or desk runs.

10 Gigabit headroom up to 100 metres

The cable supports full 10GBase-T speeds across the standard 100 metre channel distance, unlike older Cat6 systems that only reach that rate over limited lengths. Alien crosstalk performance is improved by the construction quality. At two feet it adds negligible insertion loss, leaving the entire distance budget for the rest of the link. It does not extend the 100 metre limit itself.

Replaces shorter Cat6 or Cat5e jumpers
