  • Product typeConsumer Electronics
  • Cat6a specification handles higher bandwidth than Cat6
  • Snagless boot protects the latch during frequent plug cycles
  • UTP construction keeps the cable light and easy to route
  • Six-foot length suits typical desk or patch-panel runs

6 ft Cat6a snagless patch cable

This Cat6a UTP patch cable measures six feet and terminates in moulded RJ-45 connectors with snagless boots. The unshielded construction keeps the cable flexible for routing through tight spaces. Black jacketing matches common rack and desk aesthetics.

Home and office networks needing a short Cat6a link

Buyers who require shielded cabling for high-interference environments should consider a different cable type. Installers needing longer runs or pre-terminated trunk lengths will not find a suitable length here.

Questions about this item

Will the RJ-45 connectors on this Cat6a cable plug into the Gigabit Ethernet ports on my older router and switch?

Yes, the RJ-45 (M) to RJ-45 (M) connectors are the standard interface for Gigabit Ethernet, so they will plug directly into your existing router and switch ports.

How can I verify the cable is functioning correctly after I connect it?

Check the link lights on both ports; a solid or blinking LED indicates an active connection, and you can run a speed test to confirm data is passing through the UTP patch cable.
