Ideal for wired networking

This Category 6 patch cable connects two RJ45 network ports over a 25 ft run. It suits home offices, small business LANs and any device that needs a reliable wired link for voice, data or video traffic. The grey jacket keeps the installation looking clean.

Fits standard RJ45 ports

Both ends terminate in male RJ45 connectors, so the cable plugs directly into routers, switches, patch panels, PCs, printers or IP cameras without adapters. The unshielded, non-booted design makes routing through tight trunking or underfloor trays straightforward. It frees up wireless bandwidth by moving stationary devices onto a dedicated copper link.

Meets Cat 6 TIA/EIA standards

The construction reduces impedance mismatch and structural return loss compared with lower-category cables, supporting gigabit Ethernet speeds over the full 7.62 metre length. Passive copper carries the signal without external power, so there is no heat generation or fan noise to consider. Lifetime warranty coverage is included by the manufacturer.

Questions about this item

Will a 25 ft Cat 6 patch cable reach between devices on opposite sides of a room?

At 25 ft (7.62 m) it spans typical desk-to-wall or rack-to-rack distances without needing a coupler.

Does the unshielded Cat 6 cable generate noticeable heat or signal noise during all-day PoE or 1 Gbps traffic?

Passive copper produces no heat and the twisted-pair design meets Cat 6 TIA/EIA limits for crosstalk and return loss.

What connectors must the network devices already have to use this grey Cat 6 patch cable?

Each end terminates in an RJ45 male plug, so both devices need a standard RJ45 female network port.
