25 ft RCA stereo audio extension cable

The Cables To Go 13042 extends an existing red and white RCA stereo connection by 25 ft (7.62 m). It is intended for anyone who needs to bridge a longer gap between a source device and a TV, monitor or A/V receiver without replacing the original cable.

Male to female connectors for inline extension

The cable carries one RCA stereo male plug on one end and one RCA stereo female jack on the other, so it plugs directly into the end of your current cable. The ultra-flexible PVC jacket routes easily behind desks, entertainment centres or audio racks, and the molded strain relief protects the conductors from damage during installation.

Gold-plated contacts and double shielding

Molded 24 K gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and maintain signal integrity over the cable’s lifetime. Oxygen-free copper conductors with 100 % foil and spiral braid shielding block electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference, preserving audio quality across the full 25 ft run.

Questions about this item

Will the 25 ft length cause signal loss on a stereo run?

Twisted-pair oxygen-free copper conductors with 100 % foil and spiral-wound shielding are designed to minimise loss over the full 25 ft distance.

Does the ultra-flexible PVC jacket stay pliable after long periods behind equipment?

The jacket is rated to remain flexible in tight spaces behind desks or racks without hardening or damaging the conductors.

Do I need a male-to-male RCA cable already to use this extension?

Yes — this cable has one male and one female RCA connector, so it plugs into an existing male-to-male stereo cable.
