The Cables To Go 37465 is a 20-metre OS1/OS2 single-mode fibre patch cable with LC duplex connectors on each end. It is built for long-distance network links in enterprise, campus or data-centre environments where copper reach is insufficient. The yellow PVC jacket identifies the single-mode fibre type at a glance.

9/125 micron core and 65.6-foot reach

The 9/125 micron core/cladding geometry supports standard single-mode wavelengths and provides low attenuation over the full 20-metre length. It comfortably handles gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel and other protocols that specify OS1/OS2 cabling. The fixed 20-metre length means installers must plan exact routing; slack cannot be trimmed without re-termination.

LC duplex connector constraints

Each end uses a push-pull LC duplex connector, so the patch panel or transceiver must present matching LC ports. The duplex housing occupies two adjacent fibres, limiting density compared with newer small-form-factor alternatives. The PVC jacket is not rated for plenum or riser spaces, restricting use to general-purpose indoor pathways.
