35 ft Standard Speed HDMI Cable for 1080p

This 35-foot HDMI cable carries 1080p video and digital audio between source and display devices. Its CL2P plenum rating meets fire-safety codes for routing through air-handling spaces in commercial buildings, schools and healthcare facilities. The 24 AWG conductors and braid shielding protect signal integrity over the full length. TAA compliance allows use on federal procurement contracts.

Check port type and resolution requirement before

Verify that both devices have full-size HDMI ports, as this cable uses male HDMI connectors on each end. Confirm the source and display operate at 1080p or lower, because the cable is rated for standard-speed bandwidth only. Ensure the 35-foot run matches your installation plan; shorter or longer distances need a different length. The plenum jacket is stiffer than typical riser cables, so allow extra space for bends.

Gripping connectors and gold contacts reduce

Gold-flash plating on the contact surfaces resists corrosion for consistent conductivity over time. The gripping connector design adds three times the normal port friction, preventing accidental disconnection from vibration or cable movement. Braid shielding blocks electromagnetic interference that can degrade picture and audio quality. The cable weighs approximately 3.21 lb, so plan support points for vertical or overhead runs.

Questions about this item

Does the 35 ft cable include both HDMI connectors or do I need to buy them separately?

The 42530 ships with a gold-plated HDMI male connector on each end already attached, so nothing extra is required for a standard A/V hook-up.

Should I choose this standard speed version or look for a high speed model if my display is 1080p?

For 1920 x 1080 resolution the standard speed rating is sufficient; high speed is only needed for higher resolutions or refresh rates not supported by this cable.

What does the 1080p rating mean when the cable is run through a plenum ceiling space?

The CL2P plenum jacket meets fire safety codes for air-handling spaces while still delivering 1080p video and audio without signal loss over the full 35 ft length.
