30 m 48 Gbps fibre HDMI cable

This 30 metre active optical cable carries HDMI 2.1 signals at 48 Gbps. It supports 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at up to 120 Hz for installers who need long runs without signal loss. The plug-and-play design suits commercial signage, medical imaging and home theatre projects.

Male-to-male HDMI 2.1 connectors

Each end terminates in a standard HDMI 2.1 male plug, backward compatible with HDMI 2.0 and 1.4 sources and displays. The hybrid fibre construction keeps the cable thin and flexible for routing through conduit or behind walls while maintaining full bandwidth over the full 98.42 ft length.

Passive cooling with no external power

The embedded converter chips draw power from the HDMI ports themselves, so no separate adapter is required. Fibre transmission eliminates electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz playback in digital signage, broadcast and security applications.

Questions about this item

What bandwidth does the HDMI 2.1 interface on this 30 m cable actually deliver?

The cable supports the full 48 Gbps bandwidth defined by HDMI 2.1, enabling 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at up to 120 Hz without compression.

What physical space and orientation do the connectors need for a 30 m run?

Each end uses a standard HDMI 2.1 male plug; allow enough clearance for the connector depth and avoid sharp bends near the ends to protect the internal fiber.

How is this fiber optic HDMI cable installed, and what step is often missed?

Connect the marked source end to the player or PC and the display end to the screen; the cable is directional, so reversing the ends will result in no signal.
