Product identity

The Cables To Go 43123 is a 250 ft Cat6 solid shielded patch cable designed for installers and network builders who need a long, continuous run of blue Ethernet cabling for structured wiring projects.

Signal integrity

Shielded construction helps protect the Cat 6 conductors from external interference so that data signals remain stable across the full 250 ft length during normal operation.

Build integration

Supplied as a single 250 ft reel, the cable lets you cut custom lengths on site, reducing waste and eliminating the need for multiple shorter patch leads in a structured cabling installation.

Questions about this item

How do I terminate the 250 ft solid shielded Cat6 cable and what step is often missed?

Strip the jacket, fold the foil shield back, seat the drain wire in the plug's grounding tab, then crimp; skipping the drain wire connection is the common error.

What maintenance will this 43123 cable need over time?

Check for jacket cracks or kinks at bends, verify the foil shield and drain wire remain intact at each end, and re-terminate plugs if corrosion appears on the contacts.

What is the first limit that appears on a 250 ft run under sustained load?

At the full 250 ft length the cable reaches the Cat 6 channel limit, so alien crosstalk and insertion loss become the binding constraints before shorter runs would.
