5 GHz access point supports up to 10 subscriber modules with GPS sync and intelligent filtering across 5150-5970 MHz
The Cambium Networks ePMP 2000 Lite is a GPS-synchronised 5 GHz access point designed for service providers and WISP operators deploying fixed wireless broadband. It supports up to 10 subscriber modules and operates across the 5150-5970 MHz frequency range. Intelligent Filtering and Smart Beamforming mitigate interference in congested spectrum environments. The unit includes a 56 V PoE injector for simplified installation.
This access point replaces older sector radios that lack GPS synchronisation and advanced interference rejection. The jump is worthwhile when co-located sectors suffer from self-interference or when off-channel noise degrades uplink performance. Hypure technology combines dynamic receive filtering with transmit spectral cleaning to maintain capacity. GPS sync enables frequency reuse across tower sites without guard bands.
Confirm your switch or injector delivers 802.3at PoE at 56 V to power the radio reliably. The 100/1000BaseT Ethernet interface requires Cat5e or better cabling for full throughput. Ensure the mounting location provides clear line-of-sight to subscriber modules within the supported sector coverage. FCC certification limits operation to US regulatory domains.

The unit includes a 56 V PoE injector and uses a standard 802.3at PoE supply; it can also connect to a CMM4 with a 5 pin to 7 pin cross-over cable adapter.
Connect the AP to the 56 V PoE injector or 802.3at switch, then align the sector antenna; the GPS sync requires a clear sky view for the internal receiver to lock satellites.
The AP supports up to 10 Subscriber Modules; firmware updates should be applied periodically to maintain interference filtering performance across the 5150-5970MHz range.
