Questions about this item

How is the DS-CS-AMC833SL battery installed in an AMC 8333 oscilloscope, and what step is often missed?

Open the battery compartment, align the 9.6V Ni-MH pack with the connector polarity, press firmly until the latch clicks, then secure the cover screws; the step often missed is tightening both cover screws to maintain the environmental seal.

What maintenance or replacement will the 3.6Ah Ni-MH battery need over time?

Expect capacity fade after several hundred charge cycles; plan to replace the pack when run-time drops below useful levels for the 8335 or 8435 unit.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the 34.56Wh green battery in an AMC CA6550?

The 3.6Ah capacity defines the runtime ceiling; continuous operation will exhaust the charge before thermal limits become a factor.
