Compatible Baby Monitor Battery

This Cameron & Co DS-CS-BTV700MB lithium-ion cell replaces the original power source in Oricom SC860 and SC870 baby monitors as well as BT Baby Monitor 7500 and Video Baby Monitor 7000 and 7500 Lights models. It matches Oricom part number 093864 and ships brand new with 100 % OEM compatibility. The black pack measures 68.35 x 42.30 x 9.95 mm and weighs only a few grams.

Capacity And Chemistry

The single specification that decides fit is the 3.7 V 2300 mAh rating, which delivers 8.51 Wh of energy from a lithium-ion chemistry. A different voltage or capacity would prevent the monitor from charging correctly or reporting remaining run-time accurately. This exact figure ensures the handset firmware recognises the cell and calibrates the battery gauge without modification.

Sustained Discharge Behaviour

Under the continuous low-current draw of a baby monitor the lithium-ion chemistry maintains a stable voltage curve, avoiding the sudden drops seen in high-drain bursts. The 2.3 Ah capacity supports overnight monitoring sessions without triggering a premature low-battery alert. Self-discharge remains minimal during standby weeks, so the unit is ready when placed back on the charger.
