Replacement battery for Magnetek BT114-0 crane

This 7.2 V nickel-metal hydride pack delivers 2000 mAh capacity for the Magnetek BT114-0 crane remote control. It is a direct-fit replacement built to the original 192.10 x 60.18 x 19.30 mm form factor. The black housing matches the stock appearance.

Ni-MH chemistry limits and charging notes

Nickel-metal hydride cells self-discharge faster than lithium types and should be cycled every few months if the remote sits idle. The 14.40 Wh rating means runtime scales directly with the remote's current draw. Over-charging or fast-charging beyond the maker's specified rate shortens cycle life.

Drop-in install with polarity care

The pack slides into the remote's battery compartment without tools or soldering. The only common error is reversing the connector or forcing the plug offset by one pin which can damage the remote's charging circuit. Verify the red and black wire positions against the original pack before closing the cover.
