Replacement RAID controller battery delivering 830 mAh at 3.7 V for compatible Dell PowerEdge and PERC systems
This 830 mAh lithium-ion cell replaces the original cache-backup battery in Dell PowerEdge R620, R720, R820 and T110 II servers. It supports PERC H710, H710P and H810 controllers as well as the M620, R320, R420, R520 and T420 platforms. The part matches OEM numbers 070K80, 07VJMH, 37CT1, 70K80, 7VJMH, H132V and T40JJ. Server administrators who need to restore write-cache protection after the factory cell has aged will use this unit.
The pack measures 46.12 x 36.20 x 5.14 mm and weighs 17.8 g, matching the original mechanical envelope so it seats in the existing holder without modification. A fully decoded chip communicates with the controller exactly like the stock battery, enabling proper charge reporting and health monitoring. Integrated over-charge, over-discharge, over-voltage and short-circuit protection circuits guard the cell during operation. The package includes shock-absorbing foam for transit safety.
Rated capacity is 830 mAh at 3.7 V, delivering 3.07 Wh of energy to hold RAID cache data during power loss. This capacity decides whether the controller can flush outstanding writes before shutdown; a lower-value cell would not meet the firmware’s minimum threshold. The battery arrives new and reaches full performance after two or three complete charge cycles. It is not suitable for systems that require a different voltage or form factor.

The battery delivers 3.7 V and 830 mAh, rated at 3.07 Wh, matching the original Dell PERC H710, H710P and H810 specifications.
Yes, the 46.12 mm by 36.20 mm by 5.14 mm dimensions and 17.8 g weight are identical to the Dell 070K80 and 7VJMH modules used in R720, R620 and R820 servers.
Match the keyed two-pin connector to the controller header; the plug only seats one way, so press gently until it clicks — forcing it backwards bends the pins.
