16-Channel Hybrid DVR with 4TB

The Camius TRIVAULT4K is a 16-channel hybrid digital video recorder that accepts 16 analog BNC cameras and up to 8 IP cameras. It ships with a 4 TB surveillance-grade hard drive installed and supports H.264, H.265 and G711a compression. Video outputs include 4K HDMI, 1080P VGA and a CVBS spot monitor port. Remote viewing is available via PC and Mac software, web browser and the Camius View app for iOS and Android.

Verify camera types and storage limits

Before ordering, confirm that your existing analog cameras use CVBS, AHD, CVI or TVI signals over BNC connectors. The recorder provides 16 RCA audio inputs for cameras with microphones. Total internal capacity is two SATA drives at 14 TB each plus one eSATA port at 14 TB. The unit requires the included 12 V 5 A power supply and analogue channels can be converted to IP mode if needed.

Upgrades from single-format or lower-channel DVRs

This recorder replaces older DVRs that only handle one analog format or fewer than 16 channels. The jump is worthwhile when you need to mix legacy analog cameras with new IP cameras on a single 24-channel platform. It records analog 4K at 3840x2160 resolution up to 10 fps and IP streams at up to 30 fps per channel, giving a unified timeline for both camera types.

Questions about this item

Does the box include cameras or do I need to buy them separately?

The package contains the DVR with a pre-installed 4TB drive, an HDMI cable, a network cable, an audio cable, a USB mouse, a quick setup guide, and mounting screws. Cameras are not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose the internal SATA bays or the eSATA port for extra storage?

The recorder fits two internal SATA drives and one eSATA drive, each supporting up to 14TB. Internal SATA is simpler for a permanent install, while eSATA lets you add an external enclosure without opening the chassis.

What does the 4K 10 fps figure mean for daily recording?

Analog channels connected via BNC can record at 3840x2160 resolution at 10 frames per second, while IP channels can reach 30 fps. The lower frame rate on analog 4K saves storage space but still captures detailed footage.
