Genuine Canon Chroma Optimizer cartridge

This is a genuine Canon 0860C001AA ink cartridge containing 160 ml of Chroma Optimizer fluid. It is designed for professional photographers and print studios that use compatible Canon imagePROGRAF PRO series printers. The cartridge is supplied new and individually packaged.

Chroma Optimizer function

The Chroma Optimizer is a clear coating applied over pigment inks to reduce gloss differential and bronzing on glossy or semi-gloss media. It produces more uniform surface reflection, which improves colour consistency and deepens black density across the print. Each 160 ml cartridge delivers this coating for the supported printer models.

Questions about this item

How often will the 160 ml Chroma Optimizer cartridge need replacing on a PRO-4000?

Replacement frequency depends on print volume and coverage; the 160 ml capacity supplies a fixed ink amount for the Chroma Optimizer channel on compatible imagePROGRAF PRO models.

What runs out first during a long print run on a PRO-6000S?

The Chroma Optimizer ink in this 160 ml cartridge will deplete before the printer hardware reaches any service limit; no other consumable is tied to this specific cartridge.

Does the Chroma Optimizer cartridge add heat or noise when the PRO-2100 runs all day?

The cartridge is a passive ink reservoir; it generates no heat, noise or power draw of its own during continuous printing on any supported imagePROGRAF PRO printer.
