Genuine HP cleaning kit

This genuine HP Advanced Cleaning Kit carries part number CN459-67006 and is supplied new. It is designed for OfficeJet Pro X and PageWide enterprise multifunction printers that develop shim whiskers or other print-quality defects. The kit includes instructions for the cleaning procedure.

Resolves shim whisker defects

The single specification that decides fit is the HP part number CN459-67006; only printers listed for that part number will accept the kit. Compatible models span OfficeJet Pro X451, X476, X551 and X576 series as well as PageWide 377, 452, 477, 552, 577 and 586 series devices.

Maintenance supply, not ink

This kit contains cleaning materials rather than ink, so it does not add page yield or colour capacity. It comfortably handles the targeted print-head fouling on supported machines but cannot replace depleted ink cartridges or fix mechanical hardware faults.

Questions about this item

What does the CN459-67006 kit do once it is inside my PageWide Pro 477dw MFP?

The kit cleans the printhead shim area to remove whiskers and debris that cause streaks or missing colours, restoring normal print quality on supported OfficeJet Pro and PageWide models.

Which printer interface or slot does the CN459-67006 kit use, and what limits its operation?

It is not an electronic cartridge; it installs manually into the printhead service station during a maintenance routine, so no data interface or firmware handshake is involved.

What physical space or mount does the CN459-67006 cleaning kit require in my OfficeJet Pro X576dw MFP?

The kit fits into the existing printhead service station bay; no extra brackets, screws or clearance beyond the normal service‑station access door are needed.
