Standard Zoom Lens for EF-Mount Cameras

This Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II USM lens covers a versatile focal range from wide-angle to mid-telephoto. It features a constant maximum aperture of f/4 across the zoom range. The optical design uses 17 elements in 12 groups including four GMo aspherical elements. Air Sphere Coating reduces flare and ghosting while fluorine coating resists smears.

Suited for Full-Frame Shooters Wanting Constant

Photographers needing a single weather-resistant zoom for landscapes, events or travel will value the 84-degree angle of view and 4-stop image stabilisation. The ring-type ultrasonic motor provides fast autofocus with full-time manual override. Buyers requiring faster than f/4 apertures or compatibility with Four Thirds System cameras should consider other options.

Questions about this item

What camera mount is required to use this EF-mount 24-105 mm lens?

A camera body with a Canon EF mount is required; the lens will not fit RF, EF-S or other mounts without a dedicated adapter.

Can I keep using my 77 mm circular polariser and UV filters on this lens?

Yes, the front filter thread is 77 mm, so existing 77 mm filters attach directly without step-up rings.

How can I verify the image stabiliser is delivering up to 4 stops of shake correction after mounting the lens?

Enable IS on the lens barrel, shoot handheld at 105 mm using a shutter speed four stops slower than the reciprocal rule, and compare sharpness with IS off.
